About Curtis
Emmy-award winning, Curtis William Foreman, is a visionary whose stunning artistry has metamorphosed hundreds of entertainers through his masterful SFX, makeup, hair and wig concepts. Curtis’ unique pop-surreal design aesthetic has driven his professional success, culminating with his 2020 Emmy win for Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling for a Variety, Nonfiction or Reality Program for RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 12. Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Curtis has navigated an incredible creative journey throughout his life beginning with Vocal Performance & Theater major at McNeese State University. Immediately following college, Curtis channeled his artistry and Cajun sensibility into the hair industry, chartering a successful 30-year career. Perhaps Curtis’ most noteworthy trademark is his WigART. Described as “one-of-a-kind” and “sculpting magic,” WigART combines Curtis’ desire to transcend boundaries by working with unconventional wig materials and integrating skillful techniques that make for visually stunning “high concept” masterpieces. You can find several of his couture editorial pieces for RuPaul in Vogue, Vanity Fair, Plastik, Interview and Cosmopolitan UK. During the latter of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, Curtis started and finished filming the sequel Hocus Pocus 2 as Bette Midler's hairstylist and wig designer for her iconic reprising role as Winifred Sanderson, a dream come true for Curtis. He has also continued in 2022 as Ru Paul's personal wig designer and hair stylist for Ru Paul's Drag Race Down Under season 2, filmed in New Zealand and Ru Paul's Drag Race UK season 4, filmed in the United Kingdom.
